
This newly-developed 3 month program is a very intensive and dynamic one designed to introduce the basic skills and knowledge of marketing and international trade to it's participants. The program consists of 3 modules; with each having its own focus relevant to marketing and international trade. With the completion of the program, students will possess basic marketing skills and techniques and marketing research in international trade, financial and logistics management in international trade etc.

This program is for students interested in international marketing and trade. If you are thinking of starting your own business in your country, are going on to study business at university, or plan to start your career working for a company upon your return home, you will enjoy the benefits of this course. Our small classes encourage teamwork and intercultural learning and we offer an interesting balance of theory and lots of hands-on activities and participation in simulations of real-life business situations.

Learning Outcome
In addition to hands-on marketing and international trade knowledge and the experience students can get from class instruction, case studies and term projects, for those students who successfully complete the 3-module course, they will receive 6 certificates from FORUM FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE TRAINING (FITT), a publicly recognized Canadian International Trade Training Institution, as well as a Diploma in Global Marketing and Trade from Western Town College.
CASE STUDIES
We will be doing two case studies each month. Case studies are related to the coursework and are a simulation of real-life business situations. You and your group will analyze the problems facing a company, brainstorm ideas and solutions, and present your plan. These case studies are done twice a month on a Friday morning and last for the whole morning class.

TOEIC Score >700, TOEFL Score >530 (CBT>197, IBT>71 ), WTC Placement Test Level 7 or Completion of WTC Level 6
Practicum
A 1 month optional Business Practicum is available to students who fulfill course requirements and pass an interview.
